On Thursday, September 6th, I am the candidate for the 35th District with the Experience That Matters. Through my experience as a farmer and as a business owner, I am the best choice to Represent the 35th District. As a local farmer and a small business owner, I have successfully managed a budget and made a payroll; created jobs within the 35th District; and championed property rights.
In addition, I have met with local residents regarding agriculture and business concerns; addressed concerns with DelDOT, DNREC, and the Conservation District, as well as worked closely with Representatives Wilson, Short and Senator Pettyjohn, regarding issues and regulations while advocating at Legislative Hall.
When elected as your State Representative, I have the Experience That Matters to provide responsive constituent service; be a conservative voice in Dover; protect our Second Amendment rights; oppose new tax increases; vote against increased regulations on businesses and farmers; protect existing jobs, and bring new jobs to the 35th District.
Agriculture is the engine that supports our economy and has been for over 300 years. In 1910, Delaware boasted over 11,000 farms but in recent years, the count has dropped to 2,500. Since agriculture is the #1 employer in Delaware, we need to make sure that those who do farm will be able to continue for future generations.
Small Businesses are the lifeblood of any community. The current "red tape" that anyone starting a business has to go through is often too cumbersome and expensive to allow for a new business...or, for larger businesses wanting to relocate in the community. I will be a voice for those who want to start or relocate a business in our district. Working together, we can discuss ideas and solutions to move forward.
Utilizing the state and local resources to ensure our children's education is crucial to helping each child achieve their potential. An effective partnership, including teachers, administrators and, most importantly parents, will help to improve our educational system. We also need to make sure the government is on board with the needs of each school district.
When elected I will work closely with our police officers, fire companies, and first responders who serve our communities. They must have the technology, equipment, and funding necessary to keep our residents safe. I support grant in aid funding for volunteer fire companies at current funding levels.
Technical advancement is not a matter of "if," but "when." By harnessing the power of broadband internet, the rural community of the 35th District can access the power of high-speed connections. Another area of improvement I want to usher in will be better roads on which all vehicles (personal, business, farm, equipment) may travel.

I will work to protect our Second Amendment rights from any infringement. "A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home and State, and for hunting and recreational use." - Delaware Constitution Article I. Sec. 20
